Focal lengths and its angles?

I hope you all aware of the focal length of your current lens. I have also written the article about the focal length earlier also and wrote the definition of focal length and other important details. Please visit this link to know more about the article if not read earlier. (https://prasenjeetgautam.blogspot.com/2019/12/focal-length.html)

Now you may ask me the question, why again I am writing an article on the focal length's details. You are right but this article is more detailed about the focal length and its angle and which lens covers how much area at what angle. Let's discuss the lens's focal length and its other properties. Please go through the diagram posted above on the top and start reading or observing carefully.

Once again I am writing the definition of focal length for the quick ref. A distance between the image sensor and the subject is called the focal length. I hope this is all clear or understood to everyone in advance.

Fisheye lens (10mm, 14mm, 24mm) - See the fisheye lens in the diagram, which covers almost the area which comes under at the 180-degree angle, 14mm lens cover the area at 114-degree angle area, 24m will cover the less area. and focal length is 10mm means the distance between the image sensor and your subject. These type of lens are called ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENS.

Super-telephoto lens (600mm)- See the super-telephoto lens angle, cover the area only at a 4-degree angle but the focal length is minimum 600mm between the image sensor and the subject. that is fixed.

I have mentioned the details of the Fisheye or ultrawide, wide, standard, short telephoto, telephoto and super-telephoto lens in the diagram. This diagram clarifies all most all the doubts.

Now, you have the blueprint of all the lens's focal length coverage details. Whenever you have a plan to buy a new lens please go through this diagram and understand the lens in details.

Keep experimenting and Have happy photography to you all
