Photography's main motto is the connection with your subject or connecting to your subject in a better or deepest sense. Whenever you have spare time to visit my website, you will find this tagline on my website (www.prasenjeetgautam.com).  The true message of this tagline is the connection between your viewers and your amazing photographs. This is the only job required for being a photographer. How efficiently you connect your subject to you and how beautiful you capture the photographs. It is very important to understand your subject before you press the shutter button. Spend time with him or her. Try to understand him/her so well to shoot.

Today, I would like to cover a few important tips which will definitely boost/improve your connection with your subject. Always believe in capturing more meaning full photographs. See the above-posted images of a man coming out of the river. Sometimes you capture the more communicating images while travelling where you do not need extra photography equipment, location etc. Everything is fixed/planned to shoot but must-have a photography eye to capture such beautiful images.

Let's discuss

Capture/Evoke Emotion- Whenever you are planning to shoot, hunt for the emotion, different mode, expression, different body language, hand movement, walking posture or anything that creates a feeling for your subject and your subject communicates so well to the viewer. The emotion evoked by their subject. See the above-posted image. It is very important to understand that in which pose, in which expression, your model communicates so well. this is the winning game for a photographer. Once you have established a connection between you, your subject and your viewers. That clearly proves your strong understanding of the subject. It is also profitable for your profession.

Comfort Level- When you are planning to shoot portraits, people etc. The only thing required is how much you and your model are comfortable with each other besides the photography kit, studio lighting, location etc. Your comfort level with your subject will also contribute to your better connecting photographs.

Meaningful Photographs- As a photographer, you must capture meaningful photographs. that is the backbone of the photography. Sometimes everything is perfect like lights, model, location etc but does not create any story or does not have any meaning to the viewers. It means you are still missing something in your passion. But do not dishearten yourself if meaning missed in the beginning, Please don't worry, there is always a second chance, It takes time to capture such images. See the above-posted image of a man.

Connect with your subject not only in shooting portrait or human, but also try to connect in each and every genre of photography. Capturing the deepest sense is required each and every subject.

Keep experimenting and have wonderful and happy photography to you all.
