Finding pattern, lines, path etc

There are lots of creatives contents are hidden in this world, When you are planning to shoot outside or shooting for travel, nature, building, etc. There are lots of patterns that are hidden quietly and now it is our job how to find that interesting pattern out of this existing world. This patter could be straight lines, straight road, curves, symmetrical pattern, zigzag pattern, leading lines, intersection, reflection etc. These all are visible in front of that photographer who dares to explore.

Let discuss how you can find the pattern out of the present locations.

Keep changing the shooting spot- Never ever stick to your shooting spot, keep changing your shooting spot until or unless you find out the unique pattern. See the below-posted image and notice the diagonal lines of the building. The building was straight but changed the perspective view and the entire photograph is different.

Use wide-angle lens- Wide angles lens introduce more hidden creatives, more symmetric pattern because it covers more content to tell a good story, creates a strong framing, interesting content etc. Never forget to bring your wide-angle lens. See the below-posted image. The wide-angle lens has covered almost everything 180-degree angle

Best time to shoot - Once you have finalised the location then you must reach to the location early in the morning, late evening to capture stunning shots. Morning shot will always give good dramatic lights to shoot symmetrical, pattern, leading etc shots. see the below-posted image, which was shot in the morning and Fog was the extra bonus content that I had got in the morning.

There are lots of creative content are hidden, one needs to explore and specific photography genres don't matter but creatives eyes matter. Most of the symmetrical pattern, leading lines are clearly visible but due to having wrong lens availability, beginner photographers are not able to capture symmetrical shots. Once again I would like to mention that every beginner photographer must have a wide-angle lens in his photography kit. This wide-angle lens works so efficiently.

Not only symmetrical shot, but the wide-angle lens also help you to shoot mirror image, reflection shot etc see the below image, a perfect example of symmetrical, mirror image. It was visible for everyone but the only a wide-angle lens was able to capture the entire content.

Conclusion- Always look for the different point of view of the scene, change your position to shoot and find out the symmetrical pattern, leading lines, etc because this would drive your viewer to the interesting point.

Keep experimenting and have a wonderful and happy photography life to you all.
