Finding the Root Cause

This article is about confusing questions of the beginner photographer, Which problem they face while shooting at the beginning like this how to understand the subject, camera setting and photography accessories etc. Whenever I meet beginner/hobbyist or whenever I have the photography class. I faced these types of the questions mentioned frequently

  1. WHY, My photographs never comes better.
  2. My photographs colour are always disappointed me
  3. My photographs do not speak so well and do not get likes and comments on social media etc
  4. Viewers never like my photos or hardly likes
  5. My photos always are shaken when I capture the speedy subject
  6. My lens is cheap and not having a professional camera
  7. Where to shoot, what to shoot etc
  8. Should I use/buy high-end professional camera and lenses?
  9. We have no good location to shoot.

Here, I would like to mention that "Never ever compare your photographs with other professional photographs'' Main problems started from here when we start comparing our photographs with those photographers having 10-20 years of experience, No match with them seriously. If you are looking for better improvements in your photography then please stop comparing.

Now let's find the ROOT CAUSE, why photographs are not coming as per the photographer's requirement or wish. One more thing to mention that whatever camera and lens you have, can capture the great shots. Always believe in this before planing a shoot. I am mentioning a few important things to go through and check your root cause for not getting better shots.

Basic Problems for poor photography
  1. Have you ever taken basic photography classes?
  2. Are you having photography eye to capture the shot creatively?
  3. Do you have a post-processing skills
  4. Do you go out to shoot or always shoot from your home's balcony
  5. Do you have a habit of reading photography blogs and article etc
  6. Do you watch youtube photography videos?
  7. Do you love travelling?
  8. Do you understand wide, prime, zoom and telly lens etc
  9. Do you read the manual of your camera and shoot accordingly
  10. Do you discuss your photograph with the experienced photographer and photography teacher?
  11. Do you repeat the errors or correct the errors.
  12. Do you read and understand the photographs what the photograph speak?
  13. Do you buy genuine accessories from the authorised camera sellers?

There are endless problems behind even the stunning photographs too. But your knowledge can rectify all those errors. To shot the stunning photographs only two things are required that is knowledge and experiment. Both shape you as better photographers.

It takes years and years to understand the light, composition, framing, camera setting and how you understand the subject and how you deliver the project to your clients. Please never judge yourself too early, It takes time to achieve the target. Every professional photographer has also gone through this trauma like this why the photograph is not coming better.

Every beginner photographer faces the same problem and every professional photographer educate himself for the better photographs. Please find out your root cause from above mentioned basic problems and start working to fix that problem to shoot better photography. Once again I would like to mention, Pl has the patience, Educate yourself, understand the light and subject carefully, go for experiments etc. I am sure you will get your desired shots.

Keep experimenting and have a wonderful and happy photography life to you
