Travel photography is naive ART

I hope, all the beginner photographer, hobby photographer, the mobile photographer must have heard about travel photography. Must be aware of tips, precautions, photography kit and other important advice. Have you ever observe the importance of Travel photography? What I feel about the true importance of travel photography that it is absolutely a naive art. 

Why it is naive art - When you are travelling to shoot, whatever you see and you capture, you cannot overthink, over judging the shot, can't add extra technique to shoot otherwise your shot may be gone or disappeared from your camera viewfinder. your honest spontaneous action is required to capture the better travel shot. In other genres of photography you have the freedom to modify your shot, can manage lighting and other required things to shoot. Handle with the care of your travel photography. 

Few things to avoid while shooting travel.
  1. Never ever plan to shoot with family otherwise most of the time you may waste to care your family especially kids.
  2. Avoid carrying too many photography equipment like 3-4 lens, tripod, flash, battery back-up, extra memory card, laptop etc. This will never help you to capture the better shot.
  3. Avoid telephonic conversation while shooting, Phone is the disaster when shooting.
  4. Avoid extra unnecessary luggage
  5. Avoid camera setting experiments sometime you may lose the beautiful shots. Follow your comfortable camera settings. 
  6. Avoid unnecessary discussion with localities
Few Important things to follow
  1. Know your travel destination carefully, never ever take the risk to explore a new destination without an expert team.
  2. It is better to carry one companion, photographer friend, friend etc for safety point of view. 
  3. Hide your camera make (stick tape on model name and number) from the stranger, once the burglars, the thief knows about your expensive camera, they can easily harm you to steal or snatch your camera and might have put your life into danger.
  4. Carry one lens or two lenses with one camera body, which is more than enough to shoot.
  5. Must know the correct camera setting to shoot, The important things to know.
  6. Must have a police station & ambulance or hospital number. This information is really important in case of any mishappening or emergency.
  7. Must shoot in RAW format so that you can keep editing even after a long time when you become more efficient in post-processing skills.
  8. Be friendly, humble with the localities etc
  9. Share your shooting location with friend and family. 
Travel photography actually converts you as a mature/efficient photographer because you have to handle your camera and lens only to shoot, you cannot ask people to change their face position because the light is not falling correctly on them, you cannot remove the unexpected subject that comes in a way of framing.  cannot add interesting content but can add whatever interesting to capture better interesting images. Travel photography contains lots of hidden challenges in it. That's why it is called naive art. The only requirement is to understand, tackle and capture the interesting photographs. That's all.
