Do not get tired

 




The word -Tiring sound very negative in all the working space even in sitting job. But in our profession tired photographer always lose the shots, always miss the opportunity and other end number of lost things. This article is about the photographer not about the photography tips. If the photographer is not fit all the time, not quick, not fast, not active etc then he should not try to become photographer. Photography demands lot of challenges from the photographer not one time demand but keeps on demanding and every time you have to perform better.

In our profession, most of the beginner photographer always ignore this inbuilt requirement of photography. I hope you must be watching Discovery channel and other. You will never find even a single over weight, fatty, lazy photographer and cameraman who shoot the entire location, episode, wildlife, travel etc. Being fit is the top priority for them. Here I would like to mention that ALARM yourself before its too late. Sometime being a wildlife photographer you are standing on the location for so long to capture desired species etc. Every photography genres required your fitness. Think wisley 

Let's discuss few important tips to follow which help photographer not to be tired.

  • Over-weight, obese, always look for the small or long duration of rest while photography. If you are over weight then you must plan your exercise discipline and be stick with it. Over weight people hardly handles heavy equipments of photography.Obese is almost 90% responsible for all the disease happening worldwide.
  • Keep checking your weight weekly or must have weight checking machine at home.
  • Avoid over eating, less eating will never feels you sleepy 
  • Must know, what to eat, when to eat and specially when you are shooting less eating is advisable
  • Be active and I suggest one should do yoga or must have trainer for your fitness.
  • Always try to be look young because it helps you to impress your clients. Its motivate your team also.
  • Less weight (as per your body measurement), less and healthy eating, weekly fast always keep you active energetic and more over Being healthy & active always support your family well. One fit person can encourage other family member, friend, team mates etc to follow same fitness mantra.
  • Avoid taking liquor while shooting sometimes liquor can kick you out of control and its is really injurious to your career.
  • Avoid smoking, sometimes your client may have objection. Its really smell bad.
  • Following fitness mantra aways hide your real age too. (Ha ha ha)
Being active helps you to bend your body and helps you to shoot from low angle too, helps you to reach at the top to shoot. You can finish your shoot soon as compare to over weight photographer. Sometime I keep on standing for 8-9 hours without any tiredness and whole day I depend on liquid diet or fruits and coffee too. This small sacrifices keep you young, active, and performer and energetic.

Conclusion - Tiredness is not allowed in any profession, Tiredness and fitness are two side of one coin. Choose wisely. All the best for your fitness.
