Whenever a beginner photographer start photography as a hobby/career, the most important thing to do is buying expensive or inexpensive, useful or no use, which genre of photography? They were not having any idea which photography gears to be bought initially. The main challenge, we all must have faced at the beginning of the career that, to whom to ask about buying any photography gears and how someone knows about the gear's detailed information before buying anything related to photography. 

Earlier there was a time when no Internet facilities were invented, No Google, No Bing was there to know your requirement and to serve your requirement. But now the time has changed. Now electronic media is well enough to share all the required information whatever you wanna know. Let's discuss how we can know our gears in a better way to use for better photography. 

Let's discuss the few important things to know about the photography gears in advance

  • Before buying any lens and camera etc must read the product manual to know each and everything in details. Sometimes reading a manual reveals the hidden truth too which really helps to understand that specific gears. All products manual are available online in PDF format. Must download your PDF copy before anything related to photography.
  • Once you bought the gears then know their advantages and disadvantages in details. Like how your camera performs in low light conditions. Is it weather protected? etc which helps you to handle it carefully.
  • Must compare the same product of the different company's offering. Sometimes same camera specification is selling at a cheap price and sometimes other companies are selling the same camera with the lens. Knowing the difference between both the offering is really important and you can protect yourself from being fooled.
  • Sometimes third party or other company are selling same lens (same focal length) at a very cheap price and the branded company are selling at very higher pricing. Here you need to know the services aspects, manufacturing of the lens, glass quality and other important configurations like, is your lens is sharp enough to produce the images. 
  • What are the important precautions one must take while protecting the photography gears? This is very important to know because knowing these features helps you to maintain the gears for a long time. Which saves your money, time and energy to visit customer care again and again. 
  • Which lens is better to shoot for portraits, Industry, landscape, wildlife? you must know in advance because this information will improve your photography for a better and bright career. 
  • Dx and FX-format camera? Which camera body is better for better photography or professional photography. What are Dx and FX technology or look for mirrorless technology etc? 
  • Which accessories and why this is accessories is important or just a marketing plan. You need to know most of the things in the advanced stage of buying the photography gears. 
  • Last but not the least, watch products tutorial, product review etc and educate you for a better photography level.
