Avoid silly mistakes to pay big FINES

Sometimes you don't even know or understand where you were gone wrong when you face paying the high repairing cost bill for your photography kit's damages. I am sure some of you must have faced these types of the situation while pursuing photography as a career. But we all learn from a silly mistake and if we keep on doing the same silly mistakes then no one can save us. Wiseman never repeats the same mistake as I have been taught about mistakes. Well, today this article about a few silly mistakes that we do knowingly or unknowingly in our profession. sometimes these silly mistakes habits already cultivated in us and then it has become so difficult to change those silly habits. It's a big project to change yourself. Seriously.

Let's discuss the important silly habits that can kill your photography kit, injurious to your pocket and you are highly charged for the damages.

Protect Memory card's slot - When we are back from the shoot and we need to copy the data from the camera to other devices like laptop, desktop etc. that time we take out the memory card from the camera slot and insert it into other devices to copy. When you keep on inserting/ejecting the memory card, then the card slot of the camera may damage sometimes memory card too and the repairing cost is somewhere is USD100 which may vary from the camera to the camera. To avoid such damages we must have the habit to use TETHERING CABLE to copy the data, in this case, your camera's memory slot/memory card is safe. This cable is almost free and it comes with your camera pack when you purchased the camera. find it out in your camera box. If could not find then buy it and i is quite cheap. But stop playing with the memory card and memory.

Protect battery and its slot - When your shoot is done or when you are back to your location then we always leave the battery inside of the camera's battery slot for so long and you do not even know when is your next shoot. In this case, your battery can be leaked and the acid released is highly corrosive and spoil the battery compartment or slot. This acid is also very dangerous for the entire camera too. The repairing cost can be almost USD300. So please avoid leaving the battery in the camera's compartment even for one day. Please make a habit to eject the battery from the camera once the shoot is done and keep it in a safe place.

Overcharged the battery - Never ever leave your battery on charging mode for so long when you are not near the battery charging station, few beginner photographers always leave the battery on charging for a night and go to sleep. But it is very dangerous it may catch fire when overcharged and also it can corrupt the battery. The battery cost is USD60-70. Please keep checking when the battery is on charging. Even if you are going for an hour then also switched off the battery charger or unplug the charger.

Clean the lens - When your shoot is done and you are packing all the kit then make sure that you have cleaned the dust on the lens carefully and then pack the entire kit. If not then your lens may have scratches soon then you may need to change the lens, we all know that the lens is very expensive and we must take all the extra precaution to protect the lenses.

Changing the Lens - When changing the lens then always keep your camera's front side towards the downward, not the upward because your sensor may catch dust. The dust is the serious enemy of the sensor or some time it is fatal. One must take care to protect the sensor from dust.

Conclusion - In every case, finer nuances can spoil your entire show or protect you always for the betterment. It is just like wearing a helmet while driving a bike to travel even to a small destination too. It is better to protect your photography kit from every best possible perception. It really pays you

Keep experimenting! Have wonderful and Happy photography life to you all.
