Personality of a photographer?

I have always faced this question " What personality traits do photographers have" Beginners often keep asking this question like what makes the photographer different from other people, what kind of attitude he must carry on.   According to me, every photographer creates a different known space in the world of photography by adding his creatives, different thoughts, a different aspect etc.  "Photographers need to be artistic, meaningful communication through his photographs, original creative ideas and all he expresses his true expression. He is well able to influence others"  A few important things need to be followed by all the photographers. He need not be conventional. Must work in a professional manner and convince others with his creative photographs Must respect his photography kit and always keep maintaining the kit because sometimes your maintained kit also express your passion.  He must pursue a good character and behave nicely, professionally. Important Element of Photography

In Photography there are lots of things that work behind one good photograph. A Photographer spends years & years to shoot better photographs along with bearing all the major expenses for photography equipment, travelling cost, marketing cost and moreover patience that really helps the photographer to grow. When I started my photography career, I thought only one lens is capable to shoot everything, only exposure setting work to shoot and nothing else but when you started involving in the deep of photography and realise that there is endless learning (technical and creative aspects) to shoot better shot.

But few beginner or hobbyist photographer always stuck in buying expensive camera kit instead of doing experiment and practice for better photography.

Today I am going to write about the strongest element of photography, Which creates a better, stunning, amazing photograph. Let's discuss the important element of photography.

The important element of photography

  1. Light and Shadows
  2. Colour and tonality
  3. Composition and direction
  4. Subject and negative space
Light and Shadow- This element plays a major role in creating stunning photographs see the above-posted image (Top) the perfect combination of light and shadow. The light and shadow has two other important element
  • Backlight shots, the light behind the subject called backlight shots
  • The factor that affects the quality of light means you add an extra light source, editing, change WB to create better photographs. Like you change the WB in midday shoot or in harsh light condition.
Colour and Tonality - Colour also plays a major and important role in photography, every colour conveys a better message to the viewers. Warm colours like red, orange, yellow can bring about a happy emotion whereas tones of blue bring about a cold or gloomy feel and when you change the tones of colour and settle better tonality of the image and then the entire image's appearance changed.

Composition and Direction - Better composition always leaves a mark on the viewer's mind and heart, There are predefined compositions like the rule of thirds, spirals, leading lines etc. But as long as you move on for better photography then your experiences helps to find a better composition for your spot. Same with the direction. Over a period of photography experience, you train your eyes and decide how to direct and write the shot, what content must be captured and what contents are useless for photographs. This direction is very important for a photographer to grow. Your photography eye, creatives, experiences, experiments decide the better storytelling and amazing photographs.

Subject and Negative Space - Sometimes negative space plays a mojo role and creates a vastness of the image and sometimes its add boringness to the image. Negative space may or may not important to the subject if negative does not add weight to the image then negative space create a boringness to the viewers

Conclusion - I have shared my information or artistic aspects of photography and I guess this may help you add good things to your photography, Important thing to tell you that a technical sound photo cannot be a better photograph if creative salt or element is missing in the photograph. Please follow the basic important element of photography.

Keep experimenting and Have a wonderful and happy photography life to you all
