Best Photography Kit to Carry

When you are planning to become a photographer and you are at the beginner stage. The most important confusion always start with which photography kit. In the beginning, money plays a major role because you have to no saving, no investments, no earning source etc. this time you have to depend upon your parents, I guess I am right. This happens with everyone when you start a photography career. There are a number of people who always confuse you with their expert opinion, They always force you to buy an expensive kit, even they are not a photographer but they are always ready to advise you on anything.

Today I am going to mention a few important photography equipment with whom you can start your photography journey. There are 10000s of photography equipment, accessories etc are available in the market. Every seller is busy to sell you all the items, here your knowledge will help you to buy the correct items for your photography journey. Please choose wisely.

Let's start to choose the important, economical and better for photography level.

  • Camera Body and Lens - Buy basic DSLR camera body with good zoom lens (18-140mm, 18-200mm etc) this lens will help you cover all most everything like close shots and zoom shots both. You do not need to buy 2-3 lens at the beginning until or unless you are well trained with the camera body and the lens. These things can cost appx 600-650USD max. Less money to start with.
  • Tripod - Must buy a tripod and develop a habit to shoot on a tripod, this habit can save your photos from shake, blur etc. A basic tripod can cost 50-100USD. You must never ignore to buy it because it really works well in low light condition too.
  • Memory Card - Always buy two memory cards instead of one, it's better to buy 32GB each rather than a single memory card with 64 GB. Because one memory card must be in reserve. It's mandatory. You never know when your memory card can be refilled or corrupt, always have one card in reserve. It is just like carrying extra tyre in the car. Both cards can cost you around 20USD max
  • Camera bag - Must have a good and strong camera bag, strong bag that can protect all your photography kit from any unexpected incident, accident in future. It must be a weather-friendly bag too at least in case of raining. Sometimes your camera manufacture company can give good camera bag as FREEBIES, ask them before buying the camera and lens. If you buy your own than 20-30 USD will cost buying a good bag for the beginners.

There are endless other photography equipment & accessories that can be added to your kit and that can be added once you decide your career in photography, till then you must start practice on the basic photography kit. In the beginning, there is no requirement for investing money unnecessarily in the photography kit until or unless you are convinced with your photography passion & eyes. I know few beginner photographers who have invested very handsome amount in the photography kit like they bought high-end DSLRs cameras with expensive lens worth 4000USD but after sometimes they do not even use and scraped in their storeroom because they have chosen some other field for their career. It is OK because money hardly matters to them but I am against wasting money and does not matter It is mone or someone else.

Choose your photography kit wisely and It should not give you pain even if you choose another field later on for your career. Photography kit always attracts beginner photographer in the beginning and once they are come to know about the hard work behind the better photography career then they step back. This article helps them to understand why they need to buy cheap photography kit in the beginning and start with small baby step to go ahead.

Keep experimenting, Have wonderful and happy photography life to you all
