FOREGROUND in the Photography
While shooting, we tend to forget the empty space, dull content which appears before the subject. It is the photographer's nature that everybody ignores the magic of the foreground. But I tell you that foreground carries a weightage as equal to the background or other important content in the photographs. One thing I would like to mention that complete photographs cover foreground, middle ground and background. See the above-posted photograph which covers the sand, lake and small rocks along with people photographing.
We have so many contents that convert a simple photograph into a stunning photograph. While this conversion foreground plays a major role in the photograph that we must understand while shooting.
Let us discuss this foreground element and how we can shoot better photographs by adding a foreground element.
Notice or observation- When you are planning to shoot travel, street and other photography genres then the first job is to notice the foreground or any place, trees, landmark, monument etc which occurs before your focusing subject. Before pressing the shutter button, you must previsualize the shot. How the final photographs will land up.
Ignorance- The worst thing is ignorance when you capture the image and ignore the foreground to add in the image and you realize when you post-process the image and found unwanted foreground is attached to the image. That's a pathetic condition sometimes. We never notice the foreground that adding magic or spoiling the image? Never ever ignore the foreground.
Enhance senses - Always remembers adding foreground in the image increase the scale of senses because you pull your viewers' eye on the foreground content. See the below-posted image, Where I have added round shape construction, gallery as a foreground to the image, I pulled the viewer's eye on it. By adding the smallest thing as foreground can create a big difference.
Keep experimenting and have a wonderful and happy photography life to you all.
