The best option to shoot landscape is shooting with wide-angle lenses. If any beginner photographer looking for mastery in landscape photography then buying a wide-angle lens is the best option to shoot. Wide-angle lenses cover almost everything like foreground, middle ground and background mean It shows the broader perspective than the human eyes. I hope you all aware of a wide-angle lens. Well, 35mm, 18-140mm, 50mm, 11-16mm, 10-24mm, 10-20mm etc all are wide angles lenses and covers all most like 180-degree angle. 

Wide-angle lenses are the backbone of the landscape photography. One who is planning to shoot landscape photography then it is mandatory to add one wide-angle lens to your photography kit. This wide-angle lens always helps you to shoot monuments, Industrial, real estates, travel and landscape photography genres.  

Let's discuss a few important tips to shoot landscape with a wide-angle lens. 

Camera Setting - Wide-angle lens gives you the freedom to capture foreground, middle ground and background and you must have a strong knowledge of handling camera setting like you must shoot on f/11, f/16 etc to capture everything in sharp. The strong knowledge of camera setting helps you to understand the demand of the scene. 

Focusing expertise- Focus is something that attracts your viewer to pay attention to the subject. A focal point is generally where the eye tends to rest in a photo and also viewers to go through the image. You must know what to focus to explain the complete message to the viewers. Focusing expertise is required too. Sometimes your wrong focusing skill can kill your entire landscape photoshoot tour. 

Depth - One must try to add a strong depth in the image when you capture the scene from the broader perspective and foreground looks broader than the background. The rule of thumb is, the wider you shoot, the more you emphasize the depth. We have to emphasize the interesting content to attract viewers.

Weather condition - Once you are equipped with a wide-angle lens, a tripod, a location and settle with the camera setting then one thing is always required to be better and that is none other than a perfect weather condition. Which plays a major role to capture stunning shots. Always google for the better weather condition, download the weather app etc and once you are confirmed with the better weather condition then plan to move on the location. Sometimes rains can kill your photoshoot, you must check the rain, windstorm, hailstorm etc condition for your location because these extreme weather stops to shoot and create other problems. Better take care of yourself and your photography kit and please remember one single drop of rain is injurious to your camera sensor.

Conclusion- One must have one good quality wide-angle lens in the kit, which always supports your hobby, professional photography and very important for your career. If you are looking for serious photography then the wide-angle lens is a must for you.
