Try to shoot the PET

As we all know that we are suffering through the epidemic (COVID19) situation and we all are HOUSE ARRESTED or in LOCKDOWN.  It is such a pathetic condition for a  photographer too. Well, let's focus on the shoot and subject. This article for those beginner photographers/ mobile photographer having pets in the family. I think the pet is the best subject to shoot in this lockdown situation. Let us plan to shoot the pets

Before you plan to shoot the pets, I am mentioning a few important points to go through and this will definitely help you shoot at a better level.

Let's discuss the few important points

Introduction of the camera- First of all, Introduce your camera to your pet so that it feels more comfortable when you shoot otherwise they can be scared.

Setup the camera setting- The pets are very quick and fast movable animals and can change their position as quick as fast than camera's speed. It is photographer duty to set their camera at a higher speed and small number/wide aperture to avoid shakes and to skip the shot. That's very important.

Close all the doors- When you are ready to shoot then close all the doors, where only the photographer and the pet required in the room. The reason you should not waste your energy on running behind the pets to shoot.

Background, light set up - You must use the lighter background, natural light or allow natural light to come in, Avoid big strobe light. Because natural light and lighter background give a really soothing effect on the pets. You can choose the background as per the availability also.

Be Calm- Sometimes pets really irritate you, they will not give you shot without their mood. Please try to be calmer, quiet, soft to them. Never ever shout on them or never irritate them too. they must feel good in your company. If the pets are feeling discomfort then please postpone the shoot.

Different Mood/expression- Try to shoot the different expression of your pet. When they are busy in some activity or doing some craziest thing then shoot the expression because the pet expression also speaks better and sometimes better than human expressions. Try it

KEEP EXPERIMENTING, HAVE WONDERFUL AND HAPPY PHOTOGRAPHY life TO YOU ALL.
