Why need a flashlight? (TTL Vs Manual)

Once you are through with the basics of using a flashlight and its understanding. The next thing that you may encounter with these two denominations of flashlights. 1.TTL Flashlight. 2.Manual Flashlight.  Some of the photographers prefer to buy the TTL flashlight and most of the photographers still happy with the manual flashlight. Nothing wrong with this but Time always demands an updated change, updated technology so TTL is the updated version of a flashlight in the world of photography.
Let's try to understand the TTL and Manual flashlight. What is a major difference between both of these?

TTL Flashlight- TTL means THROUGH THE LENS. While using TTL flash, TTL itself works. Your camera automatically set flash power based on the light coming off of your subject, Means how much your subject needs a light, Flash pre-fires and calculate the light reading and then fire actually. This action properly exposes the image. Everything is automatic and this TTL assistant will work for you efficiently.

TTL flashlight is very expensive as compared to the manual flashlight. TTL work like your camera works on the auto-mode setting. TTL control over your thinking and the light but sometimes it's not acceptable because does not deliver the required results.

TTL light always keeps on changing the exposure and your image's exposures may vary from shot to shot. This may consume your time while editing the images and all the images may require too much correction. TTL’s variability from image to image is one of the major reasons many pros opt for the manual if only to improve efficiency.

TTL drains the battery quickly and you keep on changing the battery while shooting. Biggest problem. TTL consumes time because every time they require pre-flash.

Manual Flashlight- While using the manual flashlight, the photographer controls the exact power and control fully the light. This is the biggest advantage of manual flashlight.  Manual flashlight capture equal in exposure so that way when we get the same exposure into post-production.

Manual flashlight- This flashlight is cheap as compared to TTL. Manual flash delivers good creative results with the help of gels, grids, modifiers, and other accessories. Manual afford more compositional creativity where TTL fails to give. manual flashlight delivers the result as per your requirement and desire. Where TTL calculate itself and deliver automatically.
