When a beginner photographer, student photographer or hobby photographer ask these type of question? The difficult question to answer. Sometimes Its sound craziest thing but what to do? You have to bear this. Please go through question the mentioned below
  1. Which camera/lens do you use?
  2. Which camera/lens company is the best?
  3. Which camera setting is best to shoot travel, portrait, landscape, wild etc?
  4. Should I use the flash/external light?
Even I have heard this, this photograph is better because it is shot by the professional camera/lens etc. I hope, no photographer has an answer to the question mentioned above. In this case, Who will help them to know. My answer is this, "you yourself can answer to these questions only" behind every photography camera, lens there is you and your photography eye only. Remember. There is a photographer behind every worst and better photograph.
I should write or mention this genuinely from the bottom of my heart. No photography equipment is photography. Long-time back when there was NO digital photography exist, NO post-processing software, No youtube education, No Photography blog writer, No google help. That time too, there were lots of great photographers available to capture and deliver the amazing photograph. Check or google Mr Raghu rai (famous INDIAN Photographer) and see his fabulous work. Now my question is this, how he made this possible.
The answer is mentioned below
  • Vast knowledge of behind the camera and photography equipment
  • Knowledge about controlling the light,
  • How to capture the subject at the best level, The knowledge of important content, framing, aesthetic sense, the creative aspect and what should your viewer feels? message to the viewers etc
  • creates storytelling photographs and for clients too
  • Regular practice of capturing photos. Experimental/exploring habit.
  • Keep educating yourself and update time to time.
  • Post-processing and editing skills

You must believe in this, Photography's habit keeps on changing from time to time. It is your duty to keep educating yourself, learn at your best level for better photography because this is the only true photography. Nothing can help you except you, except for your learning habit, except for your experimental habit.

It takes lots of hard work, patience, learning, photography education, experiment, practices, client handling, marketing, exploration to do better photography. These are real content to do better photography is called true photography.

Keep experimenting and have wonderful and happy photography to you all.

Photographer and Blogger Prasenjeet Gautam (www.prasenjeetgautam.com) has captured all the above images. INDIA
