A Still life photography is now fading out, The reason behind this most of the photographers are busy capturing the other world. But I would like to mention here that still life photography's work can be captured at a lower scale or without any other expenses. Remember!

The beauty of still life photography is when the weather is not favouring you to go outside and shoot. This time there is possibilities to create a great shot inside the home and along with the best available photography equipment, an available object like Coffee mug, colorful object, food, Glasses, Bottles,  Iron, Hairdryer, shoes, sandals, toys, fruits etc. Now the photographer's job is how he composes, creates the shot by adding things or separating things. Experimenting with the arrangement of the available attractive elements in the composition, Adding bigger things in the background or in the foreground, your aesthetics sense of photography, your photography eye will bring out the best creative shots.

Few Tips to follow to create a good shot.
  1. Use standard light, gel to create the colourful effect, capture in available light too.
  2. Use black background, black cardboard or choose as per the subject requirements.
  3. Create a shallow depth of field, blur effects etc.
  4. Try unusual angles, different compositions.
  5. Shoot your home's atmosphere along with curtain, furniture to create soft textures, darkness etc.
  6. Shoot shadows, details of the shadows, intimacy, warmth etc. like shooting candles along with the shallow depth of field will give you intimacy and warmth feeling.
  7. Hunt for the reflection in the home and shoot efficiently. shooting reflection is one of the toughest jobs.
  8. Most importantly, your shots must create a story. extraordinary shots
  9. Whatever you are shooting must be neat and clean and must create aesthetic sense
Whenever shooting inside the home, studio, office etc or shooting for the clients, please shoot with the tripod to get the sharpen shots. Please avoid hand-handled photography. Still life or stock photography genre required a spacial photography eye, must have also abstraction point of view to shoot.

I advise, arrange the best available things at the home, plan a shoot and show your creativity to this world. This experiment will boost your confidence to shoot in any unexpected light condition along with the available sources. You will also learn to control the light, mood and composition to create a good shoot. This experiment helps you to shoot more professional photographs.
