In this Advertising, retailing, online, eCommerce world, where BIG Brands, Big marketing strategy shaping this world altogether at a different and higher level for the customers.Where one single click can give you varieties of different products as per your requirement for every occasion & need. Behind this big game, the photographer plays a major role too. Your product photograph's catalogue, brochure, leaflet and big poster can also be placed in showroom, mall, airport, metro station to grab the attention of the new customer and visitors.  I am happy to mention that Its a new door opened for product photography genres. Now, all the manufacturer companies, suppliers, vendors, traders etc like to present or sell their product in a well professional and appealing way to attract customer online and other customers. Always remember one thing, every business required photography to sell & promote the product.

We all love to see the catalogue, brochure, leaflet to know the complete details of the required product before we buy. All the material required great product eye-catchy images to convince and introduce the product to the customer.
Today I am writing this article about product photography and its important tips. Let's discuss the product photography and the requirements

Understand the products- Once your photography contract is made to go ahead then photographer job is to understand the product into deep like its advantages, technicals, Strength, durability,  usages, customer age group etc. This will help the photographer to write the script before the shoot. Script means you know how and what to shoot the best and what not to shoot. Very important to go through.

Lighting- Mostly you are going to shoot indoor for product photography.  Products required good soft light, ample light to shoot sharper images. Always carry good light along with good accessories, bounce card, white background etc. Please ignore flashguns and filters to shoot, does not give good results. Whenever you are shooting in natural light then choose a good background along with reflectors. In both cases, products images must be brighter and sharper.  It is mandatory to use lots of light when shooting products.

Multiple shots - Your clients are going to use the product images on different platforms like website, brochure, catalogue, leaflet, posters and in videos and any other electronic or print media etc. Shoot differently, different angles, position, close shots, long shots, horizontally, vertically, macro shots etc. What you to shoot and To whom you to shoot, You should know this well in advance. 

Size matters- You should never misrepresent the sizes of the products like diamond, shoes, car and other sizes products. Use the correct lens to shoot the correct size so that the correct sizes of the products convey the same size of information to the customers. This is an important room to think before shooting. Otherwise, this can mismatch and spoil the shoot and your brand image too.

Post-Processing-  last but not least, You should very well know the editing skill, over-editing images can never leave a good impression of the products image on the customer. If you are not having good editing skill then you need to hire professional image editors.
