I hope you must have heard about this burst mode, Must have noticed this option in all the basic and high-end DSLRs cameras. I guess not most of the beginner photographers use this option or aware of this burst mode. I tell you this burst mode is going to help you amazingly. One single press for 4-5 shots.

What is burst Mode-  It is a continuous shooting mode or keeps capturing your speed subject. The moment you activated this setting, automatically shutter button is released or until the camera's internal memory buffer fills up. Whatever comes first. Once your shutter button is pressed, your camera captures the images until or unless you take your finger off from your shutter button or stop pressing the shutter button. Use burst mode with bracketing mode (Bracketing means creating several photos with different settings between the brackets and you can choose the best images from exposures, WB etc)

Why Burst mode- When you are shooting wildlife, speedy subject, running car and bike, jumping animal, flying animal etc where you keep on pressing the shutter button to capture the speedy and action subject and you fail to capture.  Where you need to capture the moment as fast as possible otherwise you can miss the shots. This option enables you to capture the fast moments by keeping pressing the shutter button and your camera gives you several shots in one single go.

I suggest you must try this option to capture dance performances also. Because capturing dance's fast moment is also a challenging job. During this shooting burst mode plays a major significant role to capture great shots.

Burst Mode's advantage- You can capture at least one best shot out 5-7 shots. Sometimes your single-shot fails to work then this option saves your shoot. save your time and capture the best shot for you.

Burst Mode's Dis-advantage- Using this option too much can cause to damage your camera sensor or spoil your camera because of buffers who creates heat to the camera and camera can be hanged for some time, which is not acceptable at all. Biggest disadvantage.

By using this option your memory card fills very fast, you may need to carry an extra memory card and battery all the time. Because the camera consumes batteries too much when using this option every time. This option creates a burden on your shoulders too.

Conclusion- It is purely a photographer's understanding, How and when he uses this option. Does he really understand the value of it? Sometimes shooting only on burst mode will never take you anywhere because the photographer has given complete freedom to capture the shot. Which is not justified to the photography. This option is available in your camera to use when it is highly required or you do not have any other option to shoot.

Keep experimenting and Have wonderful and happy photography to you all.
